Our 120-Night Comfort Guarantee: Sleep With Confidence

A mattress often needs several weeks for your body to adjust to it, which is why Sleep Comfort Depot gives you 120 nights to test your new mattress at home. If it is not the right fit for your comfort needs, you can request an exchange or return within that window, subject to the conditions below.

How the Comfort Guarantee works

From the date your mattress is delivered, you have 120 nights to decide whether it is right for you. We recommend sleeping on your new mattress for at least 30 nights before making a decision, since it typically takes time for both your body and the materials to settle in.

If you are still unsatisfied after that adjustment period, you may request a one-time exchange for a different mattress or a return, following the steps below.

Eligibility requirements

  • The mattress must have been purchased directly from Sleep Comfort Depot.
  • You must use a mattress protector from the time of delivery to keep the mattress in returnable condition.
  • The request must be made within 120 nights of the delivery date.
  • The mattress must be free of damage, stains, or odors beyond normal handling.
  • One exchange or return per mattress purchase.

Steps to request an exchange or return

  • Contact our team through the Contact Us page and reference your order number.
  • Let us know whether you would like to exchange for a different model, firmness, or size, or request a return.
  • We will confirm the next steps, including any pickup or exchange delivery scheduling.
  • If exchanging, you may need to pay or be refunded the price difference if the new mattress has a different value.

What is excluded from the Comfort Guarantee

  • Mattresses purchased without a mattress protector in use.
  • Floor models, clearance items, or mattresses marked final sale at the time of purchase.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper support (such as a missing foundation), or liquid exposure without a protector.
  • Pillows, bed frames, adjustable bases, and linens, which are covered by our separate returns policy rather than this mattress-specific guarantee.

Tips for a fair comfort trial

Give it time

New mattresses, especially memory foam and hybrid models, can feel different in the first few weeks as materials soften and you adjust to new support.

Keep the environment consistent

Use your regular pillow and bedding setup so you can judge the mattress itself rather than other changes to your sleep setup.

Check your foundation

An old or unsupportive box spring or frame can affect how any mattress feels, so confirm your foundation is compatible and in good condition.

Comfort Guarantee versus manufacturer warranty

The Comfort Guarantee covers how the mattress feels during your trial period, while the manufacturer's warranty covers structural defects over a much longer period. See our mattress warranties guide for details on what is covered long term.

Terms, review, and updates

This guarantee's terms are reviewed periodically by Essential Systems, the owner and publisher of Sleep Comfort Depot, so they remain clear and reasonable for customers and the business alike. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version in place on your delivery date governs your trial.
